Children Bible Costume Sunday celebrated

Imphal, July 27 2025: The Sunday Bible School (Kingdom Kids) of Mao-Poumai Church, Langol, celebrated Children Bible Costume Sunday with much enthusiasm and colour on Sunday under the theme "God Loves the Kingdom Kids".

The event featured a vibrant Bible Costume Parade where children dressed as various prominent biblical characters and performed a graceful choreography dance that drew applause from the congregation.

Speaking on the occasion, pastor reverend L Simon Raomai expounded on the theme, emphasising that Jesus holds a special love for little children and urged Christian parents to extend the same care and nurturing.

He underlined the importance of passing faith onto the next generation.

The celebration aims to reaffirm the significance of children in the church and the vital role of children's ministry in building their lifelong relationship with God.

The church also highlighted that children are one of God's greatest gifts and nurturing them in faith is a responsibility shared by both the family and the faith community.
