Noney, July 27 2025:
The G plus buildings of Type-II staff quarters of Nungba Community Health Centre (CHC) are in a dilapidated and deteriorated condition causing apprehension among occupants to reside in the building.
Roof top plaster of the concrete slab of the building has developed cracks and patches resulting in leakage of rain water.
MO in-charge of Nungba CHC Dr Adim Gangmei informed this correspondent that it is risky to live inside the building now and condition will worsen if repair is not done within this year.
He appealed to the authority concerned to look into the condition of the building at the earliest and repair accordingly to avoid unwanted incidents.
Notably, staff quarter building of the Nungba CHC was constructed under MTDC and inaugurated in the year 2013 by the then Tamenglong DC C Arthur.
The MO in-charge also urged authority concerned to depute adequate staff at the CHC to ease inconveniences being faced by the people.
