Naga Morung: ANSAM pleas for disturbance-free event

All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has appealed to law enforcing agencies, civil society organisations (CSOs) and the public to extend cooperation and refrain from calling strike/bandh ahead of 'The Naga Morung' to be hosted by the Naga Students' Union, Chandel (NSUC) at Liwa Sarei village on March 28.ANSAM also commended efforts of the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) in organising 'The Naga Morung' under the theme 'Kuknalim', stating that NSF's dedication to facilitating an open and constructive discussion on the theme will greatly contribute to fostering understanding for a just society.
Such dialogues are essential for democratic progress and the federation's commitment to creating a platform for diverse perspective for a productive exchange of ideas is truly commendable, ANSAM said, assuring full support and cooperation for success of 'The Naga Morung'.
It also called upon all the constituent units, sub-ordinate bodies and Naga populace to extend full support and cooperation by taking part in the event.
