Imphal, July 27 2025: All Clubs Organisation, Association & Meira Paibi Lup (ACOAM Lup) observed Integrity Protection Day in a subdued manner at its Lamphel head office on Sunday.

In a release, ACOAM Lup joint secretary Baleswor T pointed out that Integrity Protection Day commemorates the day when the central government scrapped the phrase "ceasefire without territorial limit" from the agreement it signed with the armed NSCN (IM).

The secretary, however, expressed remorse that in-spite of the central government authorities removing the provocative phrase in acknowledging of the public sentiment, there has been no respite for the people of Manipur with many affected by the on-going conflict, which claimed hundreds of precious lives and rendered thousands homeless.

In expression of solidarity to suffering of the commoners the commemorative event was conducted in a low-key manner; he said.
