Imphal, May 31 2022: A programme for distribution of certificates and awards to meritorious students of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy was held at the Academy's auditorium on Monday with speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Thokchom Satyabrata as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Satyabrata exhorted the award winner students to strive for attaining their life goal and contribute their mite in the preservation of Manipuri art and culture.

He also assured fullest support to all the artistes and students who are committed to enhance profile of the state's culture.

Former art and culture minister Dr M Nara, Academy director P Bilash and former director Dilip Mayengbam also attended the event.
