Imphal, July 25 2015 :
Titular king of Manipur, Leishemba Sanajaoba has said on Saturday that people are dissatisfied with the State Government for allegedly being incompetent at all activities.
Delivering a speech at a seminar at Ipuroiba Shanglen, Langol, the titular king said there is no need for the womenfolk to stage protest to demand ILP system if the elected representatives discharge their duties.
The seminar on "ILP, Sixth Schedule, Tribal Status and Hill State: Prioritisation of Demands" was organised by International Meetei Forum Manipur.
Leishemba Sanajaoba cautioned that another terrifying episode like that of June Uprising is looming in the State in the event of failure of the Government to slot in the key five points recommended by the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) while drafting the proposed new ILP Bill.

He also expressed concern about the closure of educational institutes in Imphal East and Imphal West by the Government for days.
"Relations between the people and Government have to be built on trust.
But people are now losing trust and confidence in the Government," he said.
The Government needs to work and fulfill the demand for implementation of ILP to heal the relationship, he added.
Referring to the current ILP movement, Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) president Sapamcha Jadumani said the Government's sense of duty and responsibility should exercise now for the sake of posterity.
Dr Manoranjan Khuman, Advisor (Internal Security), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, also spoke during the seminar.
He stated that the indigenous people of Manipur want a mechanism to protect themselves from unchecked influx of non-locals.
Though it's a complex issue, the Government can find a solution to it effortlessly, Dr Manoranjan said.
