NPF intensifies poll campaign at Ukhrul

Ukhrul, April 04 2019:
Intensifying its campaign in the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, NPF MLA Khashim Vashum today called on the people of Ukhrul district to elect the NPF candidate Dr Lorho Pfoze to address the issues of the indigenous people of the State.
He urged the voters to take the right decision while voting to ensure that the man they vote for is able to deliver the people's expectations.
Explaining why he chose to contest the Lok Sabha elections as a NPF candidate, Dr Lorho Pfoze said that the NPF is not just a party representing the interests of the Nagas, but a party which is there to uphold the rights of the indigenous people of the State.

The NPF candidate went on to stress on the need to strengthen the relationship of all communities by understanding each other, accepting and recognizing their identity.
All differences can be sorted out through mutual understanding and when this is achieved then people's aspirations can be satisfactorily addressed such as their economy and peace and harmony and cordial relationships can be ensured between different communities, said Lorho Pfoze.
"Vote for the truth, the truth shall let you free from corruption and deliver you justice," he stressed.
Speeches from headman of Talui village Shangreikhai, and NPF functionaries marked the campaign.
Fr Rev Michael delivered a special prayer for the NPF candidate seeking the blessings of God.
The programme was attended by a host of NPF leaders, Ukhrul ADC members and people of Talui.
