EPFO conducts awareness drive on PM VBRY

Imphal, July 27 2025: Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) conducted an awareness programme on the recently launched.

PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (VBRY) during two business gatherings, here, on Saturday.

EPFO Zonal Office Guwahati's regional provident fund commissioner-I Nikheelchandra Anil Zode led the session along with officials from EPFO, special state office, Imphal RPFC-IIA Surendra Singh, and APFC S Saka.

The awareness drive was organised alongside the general body meeting of Manipur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and the monthly meet of Network In Action, a group of young entrepreneurs, held at Classic Grande, Chingmeirong.

During the sessions, the officials explained in detail the provisions and benefits of the PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana.

Participants were encouraged to actively take part in the scheme and avail its benefits aimed at promoting employment and economic growth.

Key aspects of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 were also deliberated upon during the programme.

The events saw participation of around 50 to 60 entrepreneurs, reflecting keen interest and engagement from the local business community, EPFO stated.
