Kakching, July 24 2024: Kakching deputy commissioner Rohit Anand launched the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) for the district in a programme organised jointly by the district administration and District Social Welfare Office, Kakching under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at the office of the Kakching DC on Wednesday.

The launch function was attended by Kakching additional SP (Law and Order) Binoy Chongtham, assistant commissioner Okram Sand-hyarani, District Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Committee member secretary and District Social Welfare Officer Nikita Thangjam, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Kakching Yengkhom Achouba, chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Thaodem Rajen, Sub Divisional Officer fSDO), Waik-hong Takhellambam Milikan, District Level Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Committee members, DLOs and staff.

A signature campaign for staying away from drugs and maintain good health was also launched by DC Rohit Anand.
