Imphal, April 29 2024: Members of the Aimol community and state CSOs on Monday extended a warm welcome to S Christopher Aimol, who passed the UPSC-CSE with an All India Ranking of 912, at Imphal Airport on Monday.

S Christopher Aimol, who hails from Aimol Khullen Village, Tengnoupal district, is the first among the Aimol community to pass the tough competitive exam.

Speaking on the occasion, S Christopher expressed elation on passing the examination on his sixth attempt, while expressing his gratitude to all those who supported him.

He added that 10 candidates from Manipur cleared the exam, which shows the state's prowess.

He then sought the people's support in all his future works for the state.

All Manipur Ethnical Socio Cultural Organisation (AMESCO), Keishampat and National Research Center (NRC), MU Main Gate also felicitated Christopher with simple gifts.
