AR dedicates public facilities to villagers

Imphal, January 27 2025: Assam Rifles inaugurated a state of the art multipurpose hall cum learning centre at Wayang village in Chandel district the under Operation Sadbhavna.

In a release.

PRO IGAR (S) informed that the inauguration ceremony was participated by the villagers, local leaders, and chiefs of neighbouring villages Recognising the challenges faced by the locals for a long time due to absence of a dedicated community space, AR took the initiative to construct the multipurpose hall, which also houses a well-equipped learning centre designed to facilitate educational opportunities for the children of Wayang village.

The infrastructure will also help the AR during their various operational and administrative activities, it stated.
