Course on Soil Enterprises Assistant Manager underway

Kakching, December 30 2024: A 90 day certificate course on 'Soil Enterprises Assistant Manager' organised under Green Skill Development Programme commenced from Monday at the conference hall of the Directorate of environment and climate change, Porompat, Imphal East.

Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) Hub Manipur is organising the training programme under the aegis of the directorate.

Environment and climate change director Dr T Brajakumar, EIACP Hub Manipur state co-ordinator Dr Laishram Bijen Meitei, and senior officers of the directorate attended the inaugural function as members on the dais.

In his address, Dr Laishram Bijen expressed hope that the training programme will create opportunities of self-employment to the trainees in different trades as it will cov er areas like computer application, entrepreneurship development, public speaking, mass communication, environment related Acts & rules, GIS basics, expeditions as well as field exposers.

Altogether 30 trainees attending the certificate course be trained at different locations including KVS Enterprises, Sanajeng Private Limited, and WWAGS Wangjing among others, he added.
