MEELAL team Assam-bound to teach MM

Imphal, April 29 2024: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL), Kangleipak on Monday flagged off a team to Assam to impart training on Meetei Mayek (MM) to Manipuris settling in Assam in collaboration with MYFA, Assam and MEELAL, Assam.

In a release, publicity secretary Soibam Arun Meetei informed that MEELAL in partnership with Directorate of Language Planning and Implementation, government of Manipur, has been conducting special programmes to promote Meetei Mayek.

As part of the initiative, MEELAL despatched a four-member delegation including general secretary Langoljam Nongmailembi, secretary (education) Paonam Thakaba Meetei, secretary (finance) Maibam Indrajit Meetei and assistant secretary (finance) Sinam Kundicha to impart Meetei Mayek lesson to the Meeteis and Meitei Pangals residing in Assam in collaboration with MYFA president Seram Herajit and Thangjam Brojen of MEELAL, Assam.

It also sought the people's support to the organisation's objective and endeavour.
