Imphal, August 27 2024: Assam Rifles organised a community interaction and distribution of essential medicines to locals of border villagers of Grihang and Kangpat Centre village in Kamjong district on Sunday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that a series of events were organised by AR at both the villages with initiatives aimed to strengthen bonds, promoting unity, and goodwill among the local population.

Around 450 men, women, and children participated in the programmes organised across both villages.

AR engaged with the local community in addressing various issues of interest, current and upcoming development projects under civic action programmes and also provided medical care and distributed essential medicines to villagers, it further mentioned.
