Kakching MLA inspects Uya road

Kakching, January 27 2025: Kakching MLA M Rameshwar on Sunday inspected the newly black topped 4.3 km long Kakch ing Uya road, which connects Kakching Makha Leikai and Kakching Lourel.

Speaking to reporters during the inspection visit.

MLA Rameshwar informed that black topping of Kakching Uya Road, a vital route for farmers, was completed under the guidance of chief minister N Biren and works minister Govindas Konthoujam.

Asserting that his goal is to construct and repair roads frequented by farmers, he said that other important roads such as Loushi, Irengband, Hawaroi, Sora and Pallel would also be blacktopped.

The MLA also assured that the repairing of roads with use of Paver Block technology, which had been delayed due to the crisis, would resume soon.

He further assured that all road repairs under Kakching assembly constituency would be completed within the current term.
