KIM denounces FIR against Kuki bodies

Kangpokpi, December 11 2023: Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has denounced the recent FIR lodged by one MK Askar Ali against members of Kuki Welfare Association, Guwahati; Kuki Inpi Finance Department; Kuki Inpi, Karnataka; and Kuki Inpi Manipur for alleged provocation with intent to further communal enmity in the state and termed it as outright ludicrous and unthinkable.

According to KIM information and publicity secretary Janghaolun Haokip, Kuki Inpi Manipur is against such groundless and ridiculous accusations by an unknown individual, anticipated to be sponsored by the state government in connivance with Meitei organisations.

Kuki Inpi Manipur called upon all right thinking citizens and authorities concerned not to be misled by such unwarranted accusations by unaccounted individuals, he said added that KIM will always welcome fact-finding interaction with any reasoned individual or organisation for the cause of Justice for the Kuki-Zo people.
