Many continue to extend aid to displaced victims

As the State grapples with the ongoing conflict, people continue to extend aid to the conflict survivors seeking shelter at relief camps.
IOT - Healthcare Foundation, Delhi in collaboration with the Universal Education Institute Cultural Organisation (UEICO), Nongmeibung distributed winter apparels including socks, caps, gloves, muffler etc and sanitary pads to different relief camps.
A press note by UEICO informed that the above items were distributed to relief camps of Phayeng High School, Khangabok relief camp, Wangoo Tera High School, Wangoo LYA club, Wangoo Tera Lup Marup and Wangoo Laipham Upper Primary School.

Considering the needs of the displaced women and children in particular taking refuge at various relief camps across the State, IOT - Healthcare Foundation, Delhi had sent 400 packets of sanitary pads, 400 pair of socks, 50 mufflers, caps and gloves.
In line with the philanthropic activities taken up to address the needs of the displaced people, UEICO has been able to purchase woollen phaneks and new set of winter clothes for the third phase of winter distribution drive to relief camps from the support rendered by the public to its campaign titled 'We Buy You Pay' .
IOT - Healthcare Foundation and UEICO will continue to take up collaborative efforts for future distribution drives at relief camps, added the note.
Bishnupur
Diamond Donors donated kitchen items, sanitary pads, edible foods for children etc to relief centre at the Covid Care Centre Bishnupur.
Diamond Donors in collaboration with Meitei groups at Motibagh, RK Puram, Vasant Vihar, Meitei Nongsa and Diamond TV family has been extending best possible to displaced people.
Members of Diamond Donors namely Padmashree Nameirakpam Kunjarani, 2nd Commandant CRPF, Wangkheirakpam Nandini and Diamond TV Managing Director, James Heigrujam visited the relief camps and presented the relief items and encouraged them to take strong and be optimistic amid the prevailing tense situation.
Kakching
The District Child Protection Unit Kakching in collaboration with District Administration Kakching has distributed winter clothing items to children upto 18 years of age across fourteen relief camps under Waikhong sub division in Kakching district.
The relief extension effort was led by K Anita, District Child Protection Officer; Protection Officer Gajoo Rajkumari; Legal cum Probation Officer Reena Chanu Moirangthem with the assistance of District Child Protection Unit staff.
In continuation of the philanthropic activities of providing essential items to relief camps in Kakching district, Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) Mission Director, Nongmaithem Bandana (IAS) along with the support from her friends distributed edible foods for children and clothes to 13 relief camps opened in the district today.
