DC Jiribam inspects flood affected areas of Jiribam

Jiribam, June 04 2025: The Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam, Krishna Kumar accompanied by SP Jiribam, Sheikh Mohd Zaib Zakir, IPS and the Commandant of the CRPF 20 Bn, conducted an extensive visit to various villages in the Borobekra Subdivision today to assess the flood situation.

The team visited flood-affected villages of Chhotobekra Kaya Punjee, Chhotobekra Bengoli, Bhutangkhal, Borobekra, Jatrapur and Dholakhal Ching Leikai.

During their visit, DC Krishna Kumar interacted with affected villagers and distributed essential relief materials such as rice, daal, mustard oil, salt and mosquito nets.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Th Manoranjan, CMO Jiribam, Vinay Prasad Sahu, SDC Borobekra M Devananda Singh and officials from various line departments were also present during the inspection.
