SAMP states stance on monetary demands

Thoubal, December 30 2024: Salungpham Apunba Meira Paibi (SAMP) has asked organisation or group to cease seeking monetary assistance or donation in Salungpham village without its prior consent.

Addressing the media on Monday, SAMP president Thingbaijam Nganbiton Leima stated that in view of the prevailing unrest situation in the state, no organisation or group should serve monetary demand or hold donation drive in the village without prior communication with the meira paibi organisation.

Leima further declared that no year-end or New Year parties will be allowed in the village, and cautioned that anyone not complying with the directive will be held solely responsible for any untoward incidents.
