Financial literacy camp held for IDPs

Imphal, July 24 2024: A financial literacy camp organised jointly by CFL, Thoubal, MoneyWise and Crisil Foundation under the supervision of RBI was conducted at the Wangjing Kodompokpi Relief Camp in Thoubal district on Wednesday.

Officials of various line departments in Thoubal district including veterinary, agriculture, fishery, KVK, MSRLM, mental health under CMO, branch managers and officials of public sector banks like SBI, PSB and private banks such as ICICI, HDFC, MRB and MSCB attended the camp and shared information on schemes available with them that could benefit the internally displaced persons (IDPs) staying in the relief camp.

Thoubal SDO and IDP nodal officer Arambam Ruhinikumar, and LDM Dr Meitram Uttam Luwang attended the programme along with Crisil Foundation assistant area manager Moishem Khaling, CFL Thoubal manager Mar-shida Asem and field coordinators of Thoubal district.

A team of experts from KVK, Thoubal led by RK Lembisana and, L Boris demonstrated on mushroom cultivation as a part of the programme during which requisite materials were also distributed to the camp residents as officials of line departments explained about projects that could be taken up at the relief camp.
