191st NRM poster campaign launched

Imphal, January 02 2025: United People's Front (UPF), Manipur president Nongthombam Rupachandra has launched poster campaign for the 191st National Reconsolidation Month (NRM) here on Thursday.

The campaign was launched from the office of the front at Keishamthong Laishom Leirak Machin in the presence of UPF members.

Rupachandra, who is also the chairman of the 191st National Reconsolidation Month Observance Committee, informed that the observance began from December 22 and will continue till January 9 .

The formal launch event of the observance was held at the bank of Leng-ondabi Pat (Lake) located at Chandrapur, Assam.

From there, the team reached Jiribam to continue the observance.

On the last day of the observance on January 9, floral tributes wjll be paid at the memorial complex of Maharaja Gambhir Singh at Canchipur.

Thereafter, a public march will be carried out up to Hao Ground, where a public meeting will mark the culmination of the observance.

On the same day, similar events will also be held in both Assam and Jiribam, he said while urging the public to join the observance.
