Imphal, January 27 2025: The valedictory programme of a month long Children s workshop cum new production organised by Cosmopolitan Cultural Institute was held at the auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Ma nipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) here on Sunday.

Presided over by Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre.

Kolkata, Board of Governors member Budha Chingtham, the closing function was held with Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) secretary Thokchom Sunanda Devi as chief guest and LEIKOL president Kshetrimayum Subadini as guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunanda informed that the Akademi, as part of its objective to promote and preserve the art and culture of the state, would be collaborating with various schools in conducting cultural workshops and seminars in the next 1-2 months.

She exuded hope that the move would help the youth learn and maintain decorum and respect tow ards their elders and teachers, thereby helping to bring about a discipline and peaceful society in the future.

As part of the closing function, certificates of participation were distributed to the children, followed by presentation of the production of the workshop.
