ABVP organises voter awareness campaign

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur organised a voters' awareness campaign titled 'Nation First-Voting Must' at Central Agricultural University (CAU), Iroisemba, National Information Technology (NIT) Manipur and National Sports University (NSU), Manipur.
In a release, ABVP Manipur informed that during the campaigns, ABVP North East Zone organising secretary Kamal Nayan highlighted the pivotal role of Manipur's youth in shaping the developmental trajectory of Bharat (India).
Emphasising the importance of active participation in the democratic process, Kamal Nayan asserted that Manipur's youth will be instrumental in steering the nation towards progress and prosperity through their votes.
ABVP Manipur also informed that the voter awareness campaign was aimed at empowering the youth with knowledge about their electoral rights and responsibilities, and encouraging them to make informed decisions in the elections.
Through interactive sessions and informative workshops, the event sought to instil a sense of civic duty and active citizenship among Manipur's burgeoning youth population, it said.
The release also noted that as Manipur gears up for the electoral process, initiatives like these play a crucial role in fostering a culture of democratic participation and nation-building.
The ABVP remains committed to empowering the youth and channelling their energy towards the collective welfare and progress of Bharat.
It further informed that ABVP karyakartas, including Gautam, RK Yaikhomba Tonsana, Rajesh, Rikomba, Chingkhei, Victoria, Priyaluxmi, Jelson, Rajiangong Golmei and Nongjumba conducted a poster campaign and visited various parts of the market area, as well as different colonies as part of the campaign.
