One of the pertinent challenges is choosing a good Government.
In order to install a worthy Government, people need to collectively rise up and root out dirty politics from the State, said the speakers.
MAYOL president Ashern Prince stated that Manipur has regressed instead of taking the forefront in terms of development due to years of dirty politics.
He also stressed on the need for people to elect a worthy candidate without indulging in any form of inducement.
Only when elections are conducted in a free and fair manner while adhering to the proper guidelines, can a true leader of the people emerge, he added.
Stating that today's public meeting will be the last one for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 (Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency), the MAYOL president urged the gathering to stand against muscle and money power to ensure that the April 19 polls will be free and fair.
