MNRF extends New Year greetings

Imphal, January 02 2025: In connection with the New Year, 2025, Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) has conveyed its warm greetings, goodwill and wishes to the Nagas of Manipur in particular and people of the state in general, who eagerly awaited the arrival of a new year with merry-making, singing, meditation, prayer and devotional services in various churches.

As per a release by its Information and Publicity Wing, MNRF reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the political rights of the Manipur Nagas and to work towards securing their liberty and rightful future.

"We appeal to all Nagas of Manipur to awaken, unite, and contribute collectively towards building a stronger and united future for our people," it said.

MNRF also noted that the year 2024 was the most troubled one for the people of Manipur as it was marked by killings, bandhs, curfew, economic blockades and gun battles.

"Amid escalating conflicts and violence in Manipur, the year 2025 has finally come bringing fresh hope and optimism for the violence - ridden folks of the state.

"May the New Year usher in blessing, health, happiness, compassion, peace, prosperity, communal harmony, understanding and wisdom, so that a new Manipur emerges free from conflict, hatred, enmity and violence," it wished.
