RIMS condemns unauthorised interference in maintenance

Imphal, January 27 2025: The administration of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), has strongly condemned unauthorised interference in its routine maintenance activities within the hospital premises.

In a press release issued by RIMS Media Cell on Monday, the hospital authority expressed its intent to address certain concerns regarding routine maintenance activities within the hospital, stating that as part of the on going efforts to ensure the proper upkeep of the premises, routine tasks of essential maintenance works are conducted regularly.

The hospital authority, however, revealed that certain organisations and individuals were attempting to interfere in these routine maintenance activities, noting that such interference is unwarranted and disrupts the smooth function ing of institutional operations.

Decrying such actions as counterproductive to the institution's mission of providing quality services to the community, it urged all individuals and organisations to refrain from interfering in the internal maintenance and operational activities of RIMS.

While maintaining that the dedicated team is committed to ensuring the institution is well maintained and operates efficiently for the benefit of the public, the RIMS authority appreciated the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders in maintaining the sanctity of the work and requested everyone not to stop construction and maintenance works of the institute.

It then encouraged proper communication for any suggestions or concerns through official channels rather than unauthorised interferences.
