Imphal, January 16 2022:
As in the past, All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) will organise the Class X pre-board examination, 2022 without fail from January 19 by strictly following Covid appropriate behaviour and SOP guidelines laid down by the government.
In a release, AMRPSWA secretary N Joykumar advised school authorities to keep toilets neat and clean and make the examination rooms spacious as only Class X students will be in attendance.
Students should contact school authority if they or their family members test positive for Covid-19 so as to make alternative arrangement, he stressed and also asked teachers to stay away from examination duty if tested positive.
The marks for the pre-board examination might be taken into account in giving promotion in case the Board could not conduct the examination due to the prevailing Covid-19 third wave, he maintained and reminded that result of the pre-board examination proved handy in deciding the fate of the students last year.
Urging school members of the association to conduct the pre-board examination through strict adherence to the SOP, Joykumar exhorted organisations, students' bodies and CSOs not to call any bandh or blockade on the days of the examination.
