MLA, Sheikh Brothers dedicate sports complex

Imphal, January 02 2025: Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan and Sheikh Brothers on Wednesday inaugurated Kshetri Iril Mapal Youth Club (KIYC) Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, constructed in memory of their father Nur Muhammad under the MLA's Local Area Development Fund (LADF) and contribution by Sheikh Brothers.

The complex built as part of Vision Kshetrigao includes KIYC football turf ground, community hall, badminton court, club building, residential football academy, walking track, open gym, and information technology centre cum library.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Noorul Hassan emphasised that if LADF is properly utilised then all assembly constituencies will see rapid development.

He also informed that the' complex has been built at the cost of Rs 2 crore with the funds from his LADF and contribution from Sheikh Brothers.

The MLA also urged the public to utilise the complex so that the constituency not only becomes known in Manipur but also bring repute for India at the world stage.

The programme was also attended by Ambassador of India to Lebanon Md Noor Rahaman Sheikh, MCS Sheikh Abdul Hakim, Sheikh Babumacha Memorial Trust (SBMT) chairperson Husne Banu, KIYC, Kshetriago Meitei Pangal United Clubs and Kshetrigao United Clubs executive members.
