Interaction programme conducted

Imphal, September 19 2026:
An awareness lecture cum interaction programme on "Exploring Study Opportunities, Career Prospects and Job Placement through Asia Japanese Academy, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan" was held yesterday at the Nongin Seminar Hall of Kamakhya Pemton College, Hiyangthang.
The programme was jointly organised by the College's Department of English, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Centre for Japanese Language Studies, Imphal.
Managing Director of Asia Japanese Academy, Fukuoka, Japan, Katsumi Tsukamoto, Principal of K P College Dr Wahengbam Nimai and Principal of Centre for Japanese Language Studies Irungbam Mangan attended the programme.
Dr W Nimai said the programme will help students understand benefits of learning Japanese language, opportunities for higher studies and jobs in Japan, besides Japanese culture.
He said the college will continue to organise such programmes to guide students to the right career path.
