Meet held to protect sacred sites

Imphal, October 30 2026: A public deliberation titled "Yelhoumeegi Laiphamlen Khubamlen Kanbagi Mipham" was held today at Ima Khunthokhanbi Sanglen, Imphal, jointly organised by Ancient Moirang Arts and Culture Protection & Development Committee (AMACPDC), Moirang, along with likeminded organisations.

The meet was organised to protect sacred sites in hills and valley destroyed by Kuki Narco terrorists since May 3, 2023 and to prevent such acts.

The meet was attended by Chairap Loisang Moirang Thangjing office bearer Ph Mangilal, Ibudhou Koubru Laikha Kanba Lup secretary Khundrakpam Rakesh, Khana Chaoba Ebudhou Wangbalen Thougal Lup hanjaba Khaidem Biramani, Sahitya Akademi awardee Makhonmani Mongsaba, retired District Session Judge Salam Imocha and others.
