BABINA Hospital launches free health camp

In an effort to provide comprehensive medical care and services to the community, BABINA Hospital inaugurated a three-day free health camp on Tuesday at its Khabeisoi, Sajiwa Jail Road, Imphal East facility.
The camp commenced at 10:30 am and continued until 2 pm, offering free outpatient consultations across various departments, including General Medicine, General Surgery, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Endocrinology and Paediatrics.
All medical tests conducted during the camp were provided 20 per cent discount and free medications provided to patients.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the camp, medical superintendent Dr Shyamkumar Laishram said BABINA Hospital organised the free medical camp to provide quality healthcare to the public in addition to create awareness on the existence of a multispecialty hospital where high-standard healthcare facilities could be availed.
"We aim to provide the best healthcare service to the people and establish the hospital as one of the premier healthcare centres in the state and beyond," Dr Shyamkumar affirmed.
On the first day of the camp, a total of 195 patients registered.
