MoS RK Ranjan launches BJP's outreach programme

Union minister of state for education and external affairs Dr RK Ranjan on Tuesday launched the "Gao Gao Challo, Ghar Ghar Challo Abhiyan", which is a special initiative of the BJP to reach to the people, in respect of Khoijuman village under Oinam assembly constituency.
Along with launching the campaign, the union minister visited many households in Khoijuman area and interacted with the members of the families to ascertain whether or not the welfare schemes being implemented by the government of India are benefitting the targeted section of the society.
After interacting with the family members, the union minister informed media persons that during the last 9 years of rule by the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president JP Nadda, around 180 welfare schemes including health scheme, Start-up, Jal Jeevan Mission and National Education Policy, have been launched and implemented in the country.
The union minister further stated that Khoijuman is a place where majority of the people are labourers and many people of the village are suffering from tuberculosis.
Therefore, the BJP workers (karyakarta) at the booth level should inform the government of any needs of the people of the village so as to achieve the government's target of complete eradication of TB by 2025 .
The government has also launched the national education policy to provide necessary education to the future generations of the country and also to ensure the basic rights of the children, he added.
On the issue of boundary dispute, Dr RK Ranjan stated that the matter needs to be settled through forming of enquiry committee, and added the border issue was created by the Congress.
Later, people offered floral tributes to the photo of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
A discussion session was also organised attended by BJP Oinam Mandal president Th Mangi, BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson RK Somorjit Singh, BJP state executive member P Kumarjit and BJP Training Cell executive member Th Rajesh and BJP Bishnupur District Committee vice president P Dinesh.
