Traffic advisory issued for COCOMI rally

Imphal, October 30 2026: The Superintendent of Police, Traffic Control Police Wing, Manipur has issued a traffic advisory for the public rally organised by COCOMI from Tiddim Ground to THAU Ground on October 31.The anticipated route is Tiddim Ground to Ningthemkhol U-Turn to Kwakeithel to Keishampat to Wahengbam Leikai to Thongkha to Nagamapal to Khoyathong to THAU Ground.

As per the advisory, the northern side of the road from Ningthemkhol to Keishampat and the western side from Keishampat to THAU Ground will be used for the rally, while the southern and eastern sides will be kept as temporary two-way roads for public commuters.

Heavy vehicles will not be allowed on these stretches during restrictions.

Traffic personnel will be deployed at FCI Sangaiprou Crossing, Kwakeithel Traffic Island, Keishampat Junction, Keishamthong Junction, Watham Leirak, Wahengbam Leikai Junction, Uripok Flyover (West), RIMS Crossing, Khoyathong, LIC Crossing and Tera Crossing for regulation and diversion.

Parking will be prohibited on the eastern side of Tiddim Ground and western side towards Ningthemkhol Traffic Island to ensure movement towards Imphal International Airport.
