Ukhrul, September 19 2026: In a significant development in terms of providing medical facilities, a physiotherapy clinic has been opened at Ukhrul District Hospital, Hungpung village today.

Dr Reisangmi Raikhan, Medical Superintendent (MS), Ukhrul District Hospital inaugurated the physiotherapy clinic in the presence of doctors, nurses and staff of the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, Reisangmi Raikhan expressed that with the opening of the physiotherapy clinic, the people of the region will be able to avail the physiotherapy facilities in the hospital.

Elaborating on the importance of physiotherapy treatments, he maintained that the clinic will help patients in coping with chronic body pain, better recovery from physical injuries, in restoring physical movement and functions following stroke for patients with associated neuromuscular weakness.
