With the objective of strengthening their drive against intoxicants through mass awareness campaigns, the Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA), Manipur has opened two new units to add to their existing units across the state.
A press release by the secretary information and publicity of CADA Headquarters, Farooq Khullakpam, informed that two new CADA units were opened at Wangjing Wangkhei Leikai and Lamding Cherapur after due deliberations with resource persons and the general public on November 8 and November 9 respectively.
While the Wangjing Wangkhei Leikai CADA unit will have a 25 member executive council led by Thiyam Kunjabati as president, the Lamding Cherapur will have a 21 member executive council led by Sanasam (o) Chaotonbi as president, the release added.
