Tengnoupal Forest Division organizes two days camp

Tengnoupal Forest Division organized a two-day camp regarding nature learning under National Mission on Himalayan Studies at Forest Range office, Moreh today.
The camp was attended by retd DFO K Bira Singh and RK Birjit Singh (Lecturer) as dias member.
Retd DFO K Bira Singh spoke in detail about Flora and Fauna as resource person while RK Birjit also spoke about the indigenious birds and their importance as resource person to the students who have attended the camp.
The students from various schools of Tengnoupal and Chandel Districts attended the programme quite enthusiastically.
N Santosh Singh, Range Forest Officer, Moreh Range and H Imo Singh, Range Forest Officer, Tengnoupal Range also attended the camp.
Later, a quiz contest was also held related to Forest Wildlife & Environment as part of the camp.
Speaking at the occasion, N Santosh Singh, Range Forest Officer, Moreh Range said that the camp is conducted to create awareness among the students regarding the natural habitat of wildlife and their significance to preserve the environment.
