10 KNA (B) cadres feared killed

Imphal, January 27 2025:
At least 10 cadres of Kuki National Army (KNA-B) are suspected to have been killed in a gunfight with Manipur-based insurgent groups in an area falling under Myanmar but located close to the Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar no 78 in Kamjong district on Monday morning.
According to a report, a heavy gunfight broke out in the Kabaw Valley area of Myanmar adjacent to Kamjong around 2.30 am .
The gunfight lasted for over an hour and during the exchange, around 10 KNA (B) cadres were feared killed and 13 highly sophisticated weapons reportedly seized.
While injuries were reported on the side of Manipur-based insurgent groups, there were no fatalities.
