Imphal, November 04 2026: Manipur Senmit Ehou Lup (MASEL) has condoled the untimely demise of its member Salam Naotomba Singh, son of Salam Ingocha Singh of Thangalai Sabal Maning Leikai.

Salam Naotomba died on October 25, 2026 due to illness.

In a release, MASEL said Naotomba, who was worried about the unemployment problem of educated youths in the State, had joined the organisation with a firm commitment to guide youths towards the right path and encourage them to work hard with their own skills and abilities, not only to support themselves but also to contribute to the economy of the State.

This morning, members of MASEL observed two minutes of silence at Phouoibi Ima Keithel and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
