Thoubal, July 27 2025: The second anniversary of Sintha Village Level Federation (VLF) was commemorated today with a vibrant program at Thangalawai Sabal Leikai Community Hall.

Supported by the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) under the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Govt of Manipur, Sintha VLF was established in Kha Thinungei under Thanga AC with the objective of empowering women and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The event was attended by Thanga AC MLA, Tongbram Robindro; Block Mission Management Union Bishnupur CD Block, Cluster Coordinator Salam Bikram; Kha Thinungei GP, pradhan N Ramananda; AMESTA Manipur State, Addl Secy Salam Avishwar; Thangalawai Union Club, secretary N Litanjit, and various social workers of the area as presidium members.

During the event, achievers from the area, who have excelled in the field of sports and academics were honoured with gifts by the Federation.

A key highlight of the event was the distribution of Community Investment Funds (CIFs) to 2 Self Help Groups, with each group receiving Rs 1.50 lakh to support their economic activities.

MLA T Robindro also extended financial assistance of Rs 1 Lakh to the Sintha VLF for its development.

Additionally, he provided Rs 5,000 each to one player and two students to support their pursuits in sports and education.
