TYCM highlights issues to TA&H Director

Imphal, July 27 2025: As part of its continued efforts towards the development of tribal communities in Manipur, a delegation comprising eight Central Executive Council members of the Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), General Headquarters, led by president Momo Tantanga, held a meeting with the Director of the Tribal Affairs & Hills Department, Government of Manipur, at the Directorate Office on Friday.

During the meeting, the delegation held an in-depth discussion with the Director on the multifaceted challenges confronting the tribal communities of Manipur.

As per a release issued by TYCM, issues such as the acute shortage of manpower within the Directorate Office and other pressing concerns affecting tribal welfare were thoroughly deliberated.

The meeting also focused on exploring viable mechanisms to address and resolve the grievances of the tribal population.
