IRCS conducts folk song competition

Imphal, April 29 2024: As part of the month-long celebration of World Red Cross Day2024, the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch organised a State Level Folk Song Competition at its office premises in MG Avenue, Imphal on Sunday.

According to a release issued by IRCS Manipur State Branch, about 37 students participated in the competition which was conducted in two categories namely Junior Red Cross (JRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) .

The winners of the competition in order of merit for the JRC category are - Samurailakpam Babli Devi of Hill Valley Academy, Khomdram Roshi Devi of Heritage Convent and Arubam Janat Devi of Kamakhya Pemton College.

For YRC category - Tongram Montessori Devi of Oriental College, Pukhrihongbam Bidyaluxmi of Manipur University and Moirangthem Roshima Devi of Manipur University.
