Athoubasingi Numit on August 13 at Nambol

Imphal, July 27 2025: The Development and Protection United Voluntary Organisation (DPUVO), Nambol, has announced that it will observed "Athoubasingi Numit" on August 13, 2025, at Nambol Keithel Community Hall.

As part of the observation, a song and a poetry competition will be organised under two categories- Category I for students of (Class III to VI) and Category II for students of (Class VII to X).

Students from various parts of Nambol area, including Maibam, Kabowakching, Kamong, Heigrujam, Khabi, Bamdiar, Kodompokpi Lamkhai, Lairenjam, Wakching Khullen (Govindagram), Kakyai, Meijrao, Thounaojam, Pukhrambam, Sanjenbam, Wahengkhuman, Isok and Naorem, among others, are eligible to participate.

Students from other areas studying in schools within these localities are also welcome to take part, informed the secretary of DPUVO in a release.

For the category I (Class III to VI), the first, second and third prize winners will receive Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively.

For category II (Class VII to X) the prize will be Rs 6000 for first, Rs 4000 for second and Rs 3000 for third place.

Application forms will be available at the office of DPUVO Nambol, starting from July 25, and the last date for form submission is August 7, 2025, the secretary further informed.
