CM pays tribute to Rani Gaidinliu

Imphal, January 27 2025: Chief minister N Biren Singh offered floral tributes to the statue of Rani Gaidinliu at Haipei Rani Gaidinliu Park at Mantripukhri on Sunday in connection with the freedom fighter's 110th birth anniversary.

After the tribute event, N Biren told media persons that Rani Gaidinliu's contributions to the freedom struggle of India and her efforts to protect cultural heritage of her people are worthy of imitation by the present and future generation.

He also lauded the courage and patriotism of Rani Gaidinliu.

On the other hand.

Kabui Union Manipur commemorated the 110th birth anniversary of Rani Gaidinliu on Sunday at the union s Mahabali Kabui village office wherein Union president Hera Kabui, Kabui Customary Council president Gangmumei Kamson and Kabui Women's Organisation president Puiruna Phaomei led the people in paying floral tribute to the late freedom fighter and observed a two-minute silence in memory of Rani Gaidinliu.
