Senapati, March 23 2020: In the wake of the imposing of CrPC 144 at all places in the State, the grievances cell of the Naga People's Organization (NPO), Senapati inspected all godowns of necessary food stalls in the District Headquarters, Senapati.

The cell together with district media personnel visited various godowns and pharmacies dealing in selling hand sanitizers and masks.

During the inspection, the team found out that necessary commodities for daily use including rice, pulses and flour are available at Senapati market though not in abundance.

However, the shopkeepers mentioned that they would bring more rice bags at the earliest.

While the team visited different pharmacies in the District Headquarters, the team had advised all pharmacies to sell hand sanitizers and masks at normal rates warning that defaulters would be dealt with severely.

The grievances cell of the NPO also appealed the public to strictly follow the CrPC 144 imposed by the District Magistrate since Sunday last.

The cell also advised all to report to them if or when they come across any shop selling their wares at an exorbitant rate.
