The programme was held under the supervision of Solomon Fimate, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO)/Block Development Officer (BDO), Suangdoh TD Block.
The programme was part of the continued efforts to strengthen Adi Sewa Kendras (ASKs) as grassroots platforms for citizen facilitation, convergence and last-smile delivery of Government services in tribal areas.
The drive achieved its target by establishing a clear link between the remote frontier community and institutional banking.
During the camp, 35 participants were given awareness on banking, skill training and livelihood.
Participants were systematically guided on updating bank accounts, eKYC, opening of new accounts and social security insurance under PMJJY and APY .
They were also sensitized on leveraging government subsidies through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) .
The counselling session on DDU-GKY highlighted pathways for skill training and entrepreneurship, equipping villagers with exact knowledge needed to move from basic subsistence farming toward resilient, market-linked entrepreneurship.
This proactive approach directly addressed the village's isolation and strengthened financial and livelihood security in the border area.
The programme was also attended by villagers, line departments and frontline workers.
