ABVP Bishnupur organises cleanliness drive at Loktak Lake

Bishnupur, July 27 2025: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Bishnupur, in collaboration with Students for Development (SFD), Bishnupur, organised a cleanliness drive at the scenic Loktak Lake, Sendra.

More than 55 enthusiastic students from various schools and colleges actively participated in the drive.

The event was graced by Gautam Philem, State Secretary of ABVP Manipur, who motivated the students to take up social responsibilities and work collectively for the betterment of society.

He emphasized the importance of cleanliness and conservation of Loktak Lake, the pride of Manipur.

During the drive, the students cleaned the surroundings of the lake and collected waste materials, spreading a strong message on maintaining ecological balance.

The participants showed great dedication and a sense of duty toward preserving the environment The cleanliness drive ended with a pledge by the participants to continue raising awareness about keeping Loktak Lake clean and pollution-free.
