Relief items provided to flood victims

Pherzawl, June 24 2022: The District Administration Pherzawl has been taking up all possible steps to provide relief to people affected by the recent floods.

Relief materials including rice, dal, edible oil, salt, tea leaves, sugar, etc were distributed to 104 affected families of Phailienthang, Henchungpunji Bengali, Henchungpunji, Saikulphai, Suongphumun, Ankhasuo, Nungshekpunjee, Savomphai, Buongmun villages under Vangai Range Sub Division of Pherzawl District through I Dinesh Kumar Singh, MCS, SDO Vangai Range and his team on June 23 .

Relief items were also provided to flood affected families of Tipaimukh villages under Tipaimukh Sub Division through the Village Authorities on June 22, said a release issued by Deputy Commissioner Pherzawl.

It may be mentioned that the first batch of relief material was distributed to several affected families/displaced families under Vangai Range Sub Division on May 22 .
