'National Integration Day' observed

Assam Rifles commemorated "National Integration Day" with the students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Poi village, Ukhrul District today.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 100 students, embodying the spirit of unity and empowerment, said a release issued by IGAR (S).
The program featured a motivational session centered on the life and legacy of Indira Gandhi, India's first woman Prime Minister through inspiring stories of her courage, leadership, and resilience highlighting her unwavering dedication to national integration, advocacy for education and pioneering efforts in championing women's empowerment, said IGAR (S) .
IGAR (S) continued that he students were encouraged to envision themselves as future leaders capable of driving integration and fostering positive change in the modem era.
The interactive session inspired young minds to embrace leadership roles, build self-confidence and actively contribute to nation-building through education and determination, said IGAR (S).
School staff expressed profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organizing such a meaningful initiative.
They lauded the event's role in broadening students' horizons and empowering them to dream big while acting as catalysts for change in their communities, IGAR(S) asserted.
