Dance drama "Secret Origin" showcased

Thoubal, December 30 2024: Under the Cultural Function and Grants scheme of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi, the Academy of Performing Arts (APA), Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Makha today showcased a Dance Drama production titled "Secret Origin" at Naran Enat Pukkei located in Thoubal Wangmataba.

The event was attended by Padma Shri & Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee and director of Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association, Irilbung, K Sanathoiba Sharma as chief guest and president of APA and Dr Br Ambedkar National awardee, Y Sarat Meitei as presidium.

A total number of 10 male artists and 16 female artists of APA along with 12 artists of Production team showcase the Dance Drama titled "Secret Origin" to the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, K Sanathoiba Sharma lauded the effort of Academy of Performing Arts (APA) for promoting and encouraging young artists through the Dance Drama, which is also related to the story of our origin.
