Lions Club of Thoubal holds induction programme cum deliberation on "World Hepatitis Day"

Thoubal, July 27 2025: The Lions Club of Thoubal, under Lions Club International District 322-D, organised an induction programme for new members alongside a deliberation on World Hepatitis Day at Kshetri Shanglen, Thoubal.

The event was held under the theme "Hepatitis: Let's Break it Down".

The event jointly organised by Lions Club of Thoubal and Mylan Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd was attended by Lions Club International District 322-D, Past District Governor Lion MJH H Manikumar Singh; Region VII Chairperson Lion Uttamkumar Naorem; and Lions Club of Thoubal, president Lion K Michael Singh as presidium members.

A major highlight of the event was the formal induction of new members, where each was presented with the official Lions Pin by Past District Governor, Lion MJF H Manikumar Singh.

As part of the event, free screening for Hepatitis B and C was conducted.

Former CMO Dr Ksh Manglem delivered a talk on the importance of early diagnosis and effective management of hepatitis.

In his address, Past District Governor Lion MJH H Manikumar Singh emphasized the Lions Club's global mission of humanitarian service.

He highlighted the club's ongoing commitment to community health and encouraged die newly inducted members to contribute actively in serving society.
